Sauerkraut festival in Scappoose
Transwestern aviation is organizing the Scappoose Sauerkraut Festival. Whether it is a gloomy and rainy day or sun is shining above the head, this will be a fun filled enjoyable event.
This is a all day long event. Lots of delicious food and snacks to eat. There will be cabbage bowling. If you haven’t done it before, this is your chance. There will be a single lane made on the ground just by putting up rails. There will be real bowling pins. But instead of bowling balls, you will see some cabbage piled up. Just grab one and try to knock the pins off by rolling it into the lane. This is bound to bring a smile on anyone’s face.
If you would rather take part in a competition, you have the best one. An eating competition. Get on the stage and take a place beside the other contestants. Shoot for the stars in front of the cheering crowd. If nothing else, you will win a lot of friends for being a great sport and have a lot of fun doing so.
A little contest will be going on among the vendors. They will try to put up eye catching decoration fro their own booth. The theme is “The Magic of Sauerkraut”. Best decorator will get a free space in the next festival.
You may not be able to take part as a vendor as that chance is gone, but you can always visit and have some guaranteed fun.
