At an elevation of 4,441 ft, it is a beautiful lake surrounded by ice capped mountains and certainly is a strong attraction for tourists from across the globe. If you are a tourist looking for a place which would keep you in tune with nature then this is surely the place to be in. This lake is a perfect lake which has a remarkable scenic beauty of its own and provides an apt ambience for tourists to enjoy themselves.
There are facilities provided for various recreational activities like fishing, hiking, backpacking, water skiing, boating, para sailing, go carting and paddle boating. This lake also has an awesome scenic beauty surrounding it. Hence camping out near the trees in its banks would definitely ensure a sound and peaceful sleep. But if you are reluctant in camping out the Wallowa Lake Lodge has better arrangements. If you are an ardent animal lover then there are an abundance of wildlife at the Wallowa Lake State Park. The deepest gorge in North America namely the Hells Canyon can be visited from this lake. Hence if you are looking out to have fun with your entire family then Lake Wallowa is surely the place to be and it would definitely give you a complete and a fulfilling experience.
